From Tenerife South Airport to Los Cristianos

Which route serves it, from which airport, how long does it take, and what to do if there’s no bus.

From Tenerife South Airport to Los Cristianos

One of the two big tourist centres in the south, and the port where the ferries to La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro leave from.

Los Cristianos is just a stone’s throw from the southern airport: the line 40 does the trip in just over twenty minutes, and through the early hours it is covered by the 711, which is the night service.

It also plays a role no other town in the south has: its port is the departure point for the ferries to La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. If your journey continues by sea to another island, landing in the south and heading down to Los Cristianos is the quickest route.

If the bus isn’t any use to you

If the bus doesn’t suit your timetable, the other options from the terminal are the taxi —picked up at the arrivals hall, without a booking, charged by the meter—, a private transfer at a fixed price, or a car hire, which, on an island the size of Tenerife, makes quite a difference to the journey.
