What is Tenerife South Airport?
The airport at Tenerife South sits in Granadilla de Abona, on the south coast and a few kilometres from the hotel area of Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje. It is the island’s international airport: it has three times as many destinations as the North, and almost all of them European.
One thing worth knowing before you turn up there in the early hours: the terminal closes to the public between 23:00 and 04:00 when there are no flights, and access is restricted to staff and passengers in the hours leading up to their flight’s scheduled departure.
