Privacy policy

The following clauses govern how personal data is handled on aeropuertotenerife.es, an information site about Tenerife’s two airports, Tenerife North–Ciudad de La Laguna (TFN) and Tenerife South (TFS). Applicable law: the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on data protection and digital rights.

1. Controller

The controller is David Franco Aguirre, who publishes the site under the GoRandom name. Any correspondence about these clauses should be addressed to [email protected].

2. Data, purposes and legal grounds

2.1. Correspondence. Anyone who emails the site supplies an email address and the content of the message. Both are used solely to reply and are deleted once the matter is closed. Legal ground: the sender’s consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

2.2. Technical logs. For every request, Cloudflare (which shields and speeds up the site) and the web server record the IP address, user agent and requested URL. Legal ground: legitimate interest in the security and continuity of the service, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are removed through periodic rotation.

2.3. Audience measurement. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only once a user consents to the «Statistics» category in the cookie panel displayed on the first visit. It records pages viewed, visit duration, device class and approximate location, and keeps no IP addresses. Figures are reviewed in aggregate only, to decide which content needs work. Legal ground: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR read with Article 22(2) of Spain’s Law 34/2002 (LSSI). Event data is retained for fourteen months in the Analytics property.

2.4. Absence of consent. Until the panel is answered, or if statistics are declined, no analytics cookies are placed. Google then receives only a signal carrying neither cookies nor a persistent identifier (Google Consent Mode), which is used to model totals.

3. Recipients and international transfers

The site is hosted on a server within the European Union, and traffic passes through Cloudflare’s network. Where consent has been given, Google Ireland Limited processes the statistics as a processor; onward transfer to Google LLC in the United States may occur and is covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). No data is disclosed for commercial purposes, there is no user registration and no profiling.

4. Advertising

As of this version the site carries no advertising. Should that change, these clauses and the cookie policy will be amended beforehand, and ads will run only for users who accept the relevant category in the panel.

5. Withdrawal of consent

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, as easily as it was given, through the «Privacy and cookie settings» link at the foot of every page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

6. Data subject rights

Requests for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and objections to processing, may be sent to [email protected]. Data subjects may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of their country of residence.

7. Minors

The site is not designed for children under fourteen and does not knowingly collect their data.
